I got my first windshield chip this weekend. Anyone know the best way to repair it? Some special place or just the weirdo in the Canadian Tire parking lot?

there really isn't a way to repair a rock chip. Bring it to a shop or those weird people who fill in the cracks haha, but the crack or chip will still appear on the window. It's just to really prevent the crack from get larger. But i would definitely get the crack filled, I made the mistake of not filling it and when I finally used the window heater on a frosty night. It cracked all across my window.. :ANAL:\

btw nice seeing you tonight!!!

Ha, I was bringing my girlfriend home and saw his headlights behind me on Deerfoot. I told my girlfriend who it was just from his lights and then he passed me.

But thanks, should I bring it to those weirdos with the tents? Do they do a good enough job for $20?

ive seen the tent guys do the job on some work trucks i used to use that got rock chips every week. the work they do is pretty good (like with any service, it depends mainly on the guy thats actually doing it, and if he cares or not). they fill it with this stuff and it hardens so it looks almost like a little blemish in the window rather than totally 'disappearing', but it makes it so it wont crack or expand when it gets hot/cold. if you can get it for $20 its worth it for sure, i thought it was about $40. dunno.

Those weirdos in tents take visa and interac, at least the one that I went to. Don't remember the name but they also give you a 2 or 3 year warranty that it wont spread, and since they have like a million locations it seems surprisingly legitimate.
