ya ill be ordering a set of black halo projectors for my civic sometime next week along with 4 hid conversion kts for bolth high and low beams to 6000k
i also bought fogs for my car last summer and ran all the wires and evryting but coldnt find where to draw power from besides the battery and i had to go back to school so i never had any time to finish the install but would like to finish that sometime soon

You can always wire the fogs to the orange indicator wires, just dont also wire up the blinker wire. That's how i wired my fogs since my EBAY relay and switch crapped out on me

and also I'm getting hids probably 6000k just wondering how much brighter they are than stock and would it be worth it to get a hid conversion kit for booth high and low beams ?

and about the fogs where do i connect the power wire to the indicator light wire and then do i still use a relay

6000K has one of the best lighting. I used to have 6000K then i switched to 10000K and it was a huge difference in night visibility. They are faaar better than OEM ones, i would get aftermarket projectors or even Retrofits, they don't blind people as much and it's better light output.

I wouldn't worry too much about the high beams, but if you really want to then go ahead. It will be better but its not really necessary

and as for the fogs, what i did was splice them into the orange indicator wires both power and ground. But the downside is that you can turn them off. They turn on when your orange indicators are switched on. I don't mind since my yellow fogs are only for looks anyways.

How about if I tapped into my 4 Gage power for my amp to power the fogs and used a switch
and on of my fogs got water in it and it corroded all the chrome backing so I baked the fog and took off the cover I'm just wondering if I can use a chrome spray paint to refinish it but would the spray paint melt?? And what kinda glue do I use to glue the cover back on so no moisture gets in this time ??

silicon is usually the way to go if your gonna want a water prof seal back on the fogs, just the clear kitchen bath stuff

for the chrome paint melting, thats more of an issue of how close the paint is to the bulb, generally shinning a lightblub on paint doesn't burn it unless its a retardedly hot bulb

also why not just hook up your fogs directly to the battery rather than splicing ur sub wire

I only have white stickers left for now, I can see about another order for silver if there's enough interest. But for now I can send you some white ones if you like.

I was just thinkin of splicing into the sub wire cause it's the closest to where my fog light power wire is right now instead of running a wire back into the engine bay and adding it to the many wires I haveconnected to the positive bAttery terminal lol

and ok makes sense so if I use some duplicolour chrome spraypaint that should work. It dosent have to be a perfect chrome cause the fogs are smoked anyway

silicone will work just fine. I remember my EGAY halo projector headlights fogging up. Jizzed the tube on the openings and cracks, never again i had a problem with the headlights fogging up.

and I got my fog light sprayed chrome and glued lense back on and it looks better than I thought it would. Can't wait to get my fogs hooked up now but Im gonna wait till it gets a lil warmer lol it was like almost -30 yesterday and snowing today . Oh well at least I can still go snowboarding lol
